RECREATIONAL ADVANCED AND INTERMEDIATE CLASSES

We have just launched our brand new recreational advanced class running on a Sunday morning.  We are shortly going to be opening up trials for an Intermediate class, this will also be on a sunday morning.  Both these classes require a trial to ensure we place the gymnasts in the right classes so each child can reach their full potential. 

What is Advanced Recreational?

Advanced Recreational is the next step in gymnastics after coming from a weekly 1 hour class. Our recreational advanced class is 2 hours long starting at 10am weekly sunday mornings, term time only.

This class is led by a British Gymnastics qualified senior coach, where the gymnasts will rotate around 5 piece Olympic standard equipment. The gymnasts will be with other like minded gymnasts who have a passion for gymnastics and a desire to improve. There will be a specific skill set that each child needs to be able to perform to a high standard and have the ability to show they can progress from these skills. In the advanced and intermediate classes the children will focus more on specific skills, and work on making them to competition standards. They will follow a plan each week that will include gymnastics, strength, balance & co -ordination. 

What is Intermediate Recreational?

Intermediate gymnastics classes are for those who are very keen to do more gymnastics and  are able to progress at a faster pace. Intermediate advanced classes will have a slightly different skill set to the advanced class. This will be a mixed age of 6- 11. Also taken by a level 2 British Gymnastics qualified senior coach, Intermediate Recreational class will be every Sunday term time at 8:45-10.

If your child is lucky enough to get into the intermediate class please take note that they may not move up into the advanced class, this might be the best suited class for them at Saadi. 

Will my child compete?

Both the recreational advanced & intermediate classes will be offered 3 competitions throughout the year. These will be saadi hosted competitions only.

Gymnasts will not be competing in county level competitions, only friendly saadi hosted ones.

SAADI - Valentines day - 11th feb 2023

SAADI - Winter Recreational comp - 10th December

SAADI - SURFS UP - tbc

Both valentines and surfs up will be competing against external clubs, however the saadi recreational comp will be in house only. We think this offers a great opportunity for the gymnasts to show off what they have been learning in their sessions and also a great experience within competitions.
